Futon Loveseats
What is a Loveseat Futon?
Futon Loveseats are great for providing the maximum sleeping and sitting space in the minimum of floor space. They are ideal for small guest rooms, home-offices, porches or any other space where the 80-85" of wall space needed for a full-size bifold futon frame just isn't there. With a full-size loveseat, you can fit a conventional full-size bed (54" x 75") into 60" of wall space.
Futon Loveseat Couch Position

|
A Loveseat in the couch position takes around 60" - 64" of wallspace. The Ottoman cushion can be stored behind the frame or in a closet. |
Futon Loveseat Lounger 1

|
The built in, hidden foot extension pulls out when in the lounger or bed position. Support legs on the extension fold down to elevate your feet |
Futon Loveseat Lounger 2

|
Folding the extension support legs under turns the loveseat into a very comfy chaise lounge. |
Futon Loveseat Bed

|
Put the back down, and it is now a full-size (54" x 75") guest bed, able to sleep 2 adults. |
Futon Loveseat Mattresses
Instead of using a full size mattress and folding it in thirds, we split the mattress into two pieces. The larger piece is used as the seating area on a good-looking, easy to convert bifold frame. We call this mattress the "Loveseat Cushion" and it measures 54" x 54" square.

The smaller cushion is called the "Loveseat Ottoman" and is used when the frame is converted to a bed or as an optional footstool. By splitting the mattress, we can use of a nice, thick futon mattress which if it were in one piece would have far too much body to fold over the back. And this means a more comfortable for sitting and sleeping.
